Tamara Potorski, RYT is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga since 2003. She believes that
exercise and fitness are crucial to each and every individual's physical,
psychological and emotional health. Focusing on the mind-body connection, she strives to offer her students a positive yoga experience that will be challenging
but accessible and leave them feeling energized and focused. She feels
that it is important to develop good fitness habits early in life and loves to
work with all age levels from toddlers on up!
Tamara is owner of Kali Yoga, she teaches Restorative, Gentle/Moderate Hatha, Vinyasa, PiYo and the KaliKids Program. She has studied Reiki and is working toward her Yoga Therapy Certification to further assist her students with the proper self healing required to address stress, promote recovery from injury and illness. Tamara is certified in Restorative Yoga through Kripalu and is also a certified Karma Kids Yoga Instructor.
Stacey Duquette, ERYT500 has 25 years of movement expertise including Dance, Pilates, Yoga, Somatic Movement and Personal Training. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT500), licensed massage therapist specializing in Orthopedic massage and a certified Pilates & Fitness Trainer. Stacey’s classes integrate a clear understanding of alignment, anatomy, breath awareness & yoga philosophy. It is her joy to share with others the transformational and healing practices of Yoga, movement & massage to help each individual foster a healthy, vibrant & fulfilling life.
Tammey Guihan is a certified Pilates Instructor who has been teaching Pilates since 2006. Tammey was first introduced to Pilates in 2004, having some back issue's Tammey realized quickley the benefits of a regular practice had on her body. Pilates has helped her with running and overall strength. Tammey is also a Certified Personal Trainer & Fitness Instructor and she teaches Pilates Reformer/Tower personal sessions and duets.
Mark Kent has been practicing yoga for 10 years. He has completed 50 hours of
Iyengar yoga training and has recently completed over 50 hours of Ashtanga yoga
training with Beryl Bender Birch. Mark has been teaching group exercise classes
for 6 years. He is a certified spin cycling instructor and pilates instructor.
Sue Kent has practiced yoga since 2000. She holds a certificate as a Group Exercise Instructor and is also certified in mat pilates and yoga. Sue has completed 50 hours of Iyengar yoga training and is working toward her 200 hour certification with Beryl Bender Birch. Sue is the Teen Librarian at the Wilbraham Public Library. When not at the library or on her yoga mat, you can probably find her on her bicycle.
Joan Roebuck, RYT A yoga practitioner since 1970, Joan Roebuck was certified by the Yoga Institute of Miami and has been teaching in the area since 1995. Joan's style of teaching is classical Hatha Yoga postures linked together in a graceful and mindful flow. Experienced in the field of Health Clubs, various town recreation departments and corporate venues, Joan has developed programs for students of all levels. Her aim is to introduce the benefits of Yoga; balance, strength, flexibility, and most of all peace and joy. Joan strives to pass on her passion for Yoga to her students.
Karen Sanguinet, RYT, began practicing yoga in 1999 in Northern California. She gravitated towards the Ashtanga style of yoga and recently received her teacher training through Kimberly Dalhman at Yoga East in Portsmouth, NH. She has practiced other styles of yoga such as Hatha, Iyengar, Forest Yoga, Yin Yoga and Bikram Yoga. With this multitude os styles having been practiced she is able to incorporate them into a fun supportive class environments. She is also studying Sanskrit and Ayurveda as a compliment to her yoga practice.
