About Massage & Yoga
Massage Therapy & Yoga are both a science and ancient art forms.  As a science Massage & Yoga increase body awareness, correct system imbalances, assist in relaxation, reduce stress and increase ones sense of vitality.  As an art form they facilitate a positive exchange of emotional, mental and spiritual energies that promotes holistic healing and wellness.

Massage is very effective for pain management.  It’s effectiveness lies in the holistic approach of considering the whole body in it’s relationship to soft tissue pain.  Massage can decrease pain and anxiety allowing the body to relax & heal.  It does so by increasing circulation & reducing held patterns of tension through the body.

Discovering Yoga over 15 years ago she was immediately drawn to the empowering and healing properties of this ancient practice.  Since then she has gone on to study many different styles of Yoga including Iyengar, Astanga (Power) and Vinyasa Yoga. She did her preliminary training with Rodney Yee and has continued to study with Shiva Rea in the Vinyasa tradition…both teachers have remained great sources of inspiration to her.  However, the greatest inspiration comes from her students…and seeing how both Yoga & Massage have helped to transform their bodies and their lives.
